Homes for Ukraine

The Government and Civil Society are offering safety and sanctuary for thousands fleeing the war in Ukraine. Homes for Ukraine provides a groundbreaking opportunity for UK residents to offer the warmest of welcomes and a brighter future for victims of the war in Ukraine.

Following an extraordinary outpouring of compassion, UK residents will soon be able to change the lives of individuals and families by joining the Homes for Ukraine sponsorship scheme.

“At a time when so many of our sisters and brothers are fearing for their lives and fleeing the war in Ukraine, I am thankful for the opportunity Her Majesty’s Government is providing for individuals here in the UK to welcome and embrace refugees. Members of the Holy Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of Thyateira and Great Britain stand ready, willing and able to provide the sanctuary and welcome that so many need. Afterall, many of our members themselves endured similar military invasion, uprooting, displacement, and foreign occupation. We are privileged to minister and serve these people.”
